My latest venture: food photography

Hello blog world!

Today my room mate and I started a two week cleanse. Part of this cleanse is a diet that excludes dairy, red meat, flour and sugar. We stocked up on fresh veggies, an assortment of fruit, fish, scallops, chicken breast and whole grain bread. Needless to say, our home-cooked meal was not only delicious, but healthy for you too.

As we sat down at the table, and I began serving myself heaping proportions of grilled chicken, potatoes, carrots, onions, and a mixed greens salad with diced tomatoes on top, I had an idea: to take pictures of this wonderful and healthy food! I must give Vanessa the majority of the credit for this meal, as she was the grill master. I only chopped an onion.

I am going to start showing some of the dishes I photographed last summer, as well as include some of my own recipes. So here it goes, my own culinary adventure. My goal? To take what I learn in the kitchen and capture it on camera. I will do my best to be as descriptive as possible about preparation as well.

Bon Apetit!
